Rebecca J. Woodward D.M.D. is a graduate of Bates College and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She practices all phases of general dentistry and especially enjoys cosmetic restoration and pediatric dentistry. She is Past President of the South County Dental Society. Dr. Woodward is well versed in women’s medical and dental health issues. Dr. Woodward is a member of the Shoreline Synergy implant study group, which meets regularly to discuss implant dentistry innovations and solutions. Her interests include perennial gardening, art history, and watercolor painting. Dr. Woodward currently teaches watercolor at Avondale Arts.

Adam S. Kaufman D.M.D. received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College and is a 1989 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He practices all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys pediatric and geriatric care. Dr. Kaufman is a member of the Shoreline Synergy implant study group which meets regularly to discuss innovations and solutions in implant dentistry. He has restored simple and complex implant cases with remarkable results. His interests include cruising the waters between Long Island and Cape Cod and is a member of the Westerly Fire Department and the Westerly Power Squadron. Dr. Kaufman is a founder and president of Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse. He has coached boys’ and girls’ teams at the youth level and was a coach for the Westerly High School Boys’ team.

A proud dual graduate of the University of Connecticut, Dr. Jutla earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees before serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps. During his time in the military, he completed advanced training through the AEGD residency at Eglin Air Force Base, where he gained extensive experience in everything from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to molar root canals.

My dream vacation would be digging for dinosaur bones or opals in the American west.

Dr. Satpal Singh Jutla

Dr. Jutla then practiced at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, where he provided comprehensive care to active-duty service members. His leadership extended beyond the dental chair as he served as both a Medical Group Infection Preventionist and a Dental Infection Control Officer, helping shape clinical safety across multiple medical and dental units.
Dr. Jutla is passionate about making every patient feel comfortable, confident, and healthy. His path in dentistry has been guided by a belief that trust and compassion are as important as clinical skill, and that building lasting relationships begins with genuine care.
When it came time to transition out of military service, Dr. Jutla and his wife, Dr. Sorna Jutla—also a UConn-trained general dentist—sought a practice that felt like home. At Drs. Woodward and Kaufman Family Dentistry, he found more than just a team of talented colleagues; he found a shared passion for personalized care, deep community ties, and lifelong relationships.
Now settled near the Westerly area with their newborn son, Dr. Jutla is excited to plant roots and contribute to a community that values connection, tradition, and trust.
